Cluster Lensing Bibliography ... Under Construction
We want to have an overview of what is known from lensing on galaxy clusters.
Here are a few recent papers; most of them deal with lensing, but i also
included some papers on dynamics, even some papers about N-body simulations.
A galaxy cluster is quite a complex system, so it may be usefull to combine the
different studies
Cl0024+1654 @ z = 0.4
- Czoske 01 A wide field spectroscopic survey, revealing a bimodal distribution in redshift space
- Czoske 02 A high speed collision to explain the observations
- Treu 03 Morphological distributions to 5 Mpc from a wide field HST survey
These first papers are not lensing oriented, but they can be helpfull to understand
this complex cluster
- Kneib 03Combined weak and strong lensing analysis from HST wide field data
Abell 1689 @ z=0.18 : strong & Weak Lensing analysis
- Clowe & Schneider 01 Wide field weak lensing observations of A1689, from ESO/MPG data
- Bardeau 05 from CFH12k data
- Umetsu 05 from Subaru data
- Broadhurst 05 strong lensing analysis from ACS data, using a non parametric method
- Andersson 04 How do we see this cluster in X-ray ?
- Czoske 04 Wide field spectroscopy of A1689 with VIMOS
Strong Lensing: Gravitational Telescopes & Constraints on Cosmology
- Ellis 01 Using a gravitational telescope to detect a z=5.6 source
- Kneib 04 Using a gravitational telescope to detect a z=7 source
- Golse 01 Constraining the geometry of the Universe from
observing multiple images: simulation work
- Soucail 04 Constraining the geometry of the Universe from
observing multiple images: application to Abell 2218
Galaxy Cluster Samples
- Clowe & Schneider 02 Wide field weak lensing observations of A1835 & A2204
- Bardeau 05b Just a draft for the moment, they study 11 galaxy clusters by weak lensing from CFH12k wide field data
- Smith 05 the same clusters studied by strong lensing, from HST data
- Dahle 02 X ray luminous Galaxy Cluster Sample
Galaxies inside cluster
- Ghigna 98 Dark Matter Halos within cluster: what is expecting from simulations
- Gill et al. 05 Something more recent and that study the cluster population up to higher radius
- Myself 06 In particular I review the results inferred from lensing on cluster galaxies: work by Geiger & Schneider and the works by Natarajan et al.
