Note: DFOSC downgrade
From the beginning of April 2004, DFOSC will be offered in a downgraded
state, with the spectroscopic capability removed.
The internal grism- and filter wheels and the shutter are removed, and only t
he FASU filter wheels and shutter can be used.
The rotator is locked to one position that will allow increased sky
access without moving the telescope to the other side of the pier.
