Contamination from motors or focus unit
After baking all stepper motors and the focus unit, the vessel was opened
for inspection on April 14 '99.
The valve to the vacuum pump had a matt surface that
broke when poked with a finger, revealing an oily layer below.
The matt surface indicates that we have (sort of) isolated a source
of a different type of contamination.
