Installation of the second engineering grade array

The engineering grade array as delivered in its case.

One of several closeup images to inspect for detached bonding wires or cracks. None were found.
Note the ad-hoc orientation mark. This array must be rotated 180 deg compared to ordinary devices.

The contact plate of the cold finger is covered in vacuum grease before the first mounting tests were made with the bare mux.

After thorough static charge elimination, the array is placed onto the socket.
Notice the small table attached to the side of NOTCam.

The array is then pushed into the socket by hand.

The array is in place, and the front plate can be mounted.

Done!
