I have put all Gerry's pictures, new and old ones, on:

COMMENTS:
gaiasat_labelled.eps.gz
shows the old version of GAIA where the light enters close to the
solar array, while it has been inverted some time ago. Reading of this
picture is therefor inhibited.
The other pictures are correct in this respect.

simulation.ps.gz requires explanation, and why is there two
different plots in the same coordinate system ? Reading inhibited.

data_acq_diag.eps.gz has an error: ASM2 should be ASM3. Reading
inhibited.

Hi All,

 after a long delay, for which my apologies (we foolishly updated some
software, and passwords...) there are a few more GAIA colour pikkies on my
ftp site.

look in ftp.ast.cam.ac.uk

cd /pub/gil/GAIA/JAN99/  for the new ones.

These are afew of the current satellite design, plus a simulation by Mario
of spiral structure as seen without and with GAIA.


the earlier ones are still in 
/pub/gil/GAIA/

it would be desirable to have all of these on the public web site, for
general use.
