Lecture Notes and References

The lecture notes are available as rel.ps.gz (restricted -- the notes need to be polished somewhat before they are released for general access).  In addition, the formal course requirements lists selected sections from "Black Holes: The Membrane Paradigm" by Thorne, Price and MacDonald.  A number of other books, journal papers, and software manuals were used (see the BibTeX file).
